OUTDOOR AIR POLLUTION DECREASES YOUR LUNG FUNCTIONS
Outdoor air pollution is becoming worse in India day by day. Long term exposure to outdoor air pollution decreases the efficiency of lungs. The major sources of outdoor air pollution are emissions caused by combustion of gases from motor vehicles, solid fuel burning and industry. Other pollution sources are smoke from bushfires, dust and biogenic emission. Children, older age people and asthma patients are always having a greater risk of developing breathing diseases due to outdoor air pollution. Common air pollutants are smog, Nitrogen Dioxide, Sulfur Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide and other toxic pollutants.
